Herefordshire Partnership
Herefordshire Partnership was established in 2000. It is a voluntary partnership of public, private, community and voluntary organisations which have developed and committed their organisations to the Community Strategy for Herefordshire. It fulfils the duty placed on the Council to establish and run a Local Strategic Partnership. The geographical area covered follows that of Herefordshire Council boundary. With new responsibilities relating to the Local Area Agreement (LAA) and Area Based Grant (ABG), the development of Herefordshire Public Services, and the need for stronger functional links with other partnerships, we are reviewing Herefordshire Partnership's Governance Arrangements .
In addition, we are currently considering a proposed Performance Improvement Framework by which the Partnership will work to deliver the Vision and Objectives in the Community Strategy, including through the Local Area Agreement. It seeks to provide absolute clarity in respective roles, responsibilities and accountability.
