Getting Involved

Getting involved locally can help you influence decisions about things which are important to you. Herefordshire has a strong tradition of engaging and consulting with local people and recognises the benefits that good quality engagement offers to the local community.

You can make your views heard through elections, but also much less formal processes such as consultations, public meetings, volunteering, or getting involved with a Parish Plan.

Herefordshire Partnership encourages community involvement and there are many organisations you can turn to for information. The sections in the left hand column show a selection of these, but they are by no means exhaustive. If you want to get in touch, please email us on consult@herefordshire.gov.uk.

Herefordshire Partnership's Consultation Protocol sets out Best Practice, and we encourage Partners to work to these guidelines.
