PACTs - Partners and Communities Together

PACT (Partners and Communities Together) meetings emerged from Herefordshire Council's Community Forums and the Police's Neighbourhood Policing work in 2006. PACTs are one of the mechanisms Herefordshire Partnership uses to listen to local people in rural and urban areas across the County - we want and need to know what affects local people and how we can improve services. 

PACT meetings are for you - whether you are young or old, an individual or a representative of a local group, a Parish or Town Councillor, or a residents association.  Whether you want to speak out about an issue in your area or just find out what the major service providers do in the County, you are always welcome to attend.

Meetings take place in 12 areas of the County four times per year, and we try to vary their locations, especially in the rural areas, to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to attend. They are open to anyone living, working or spending time in the area and actions arising from each meeting will be posted in this section in time for the next round of PACTs.

Meetings are chaired by independent people from a number of different organisations, and you may find officers of various service providers as well as elected Councillors present.
