Herefordshire Sustainable Community Strategy

The Herefordshire Sustainable Community Strategy is a key planning document for improving the quality of life for people who live or work in, or visit Herefordshire. It can be found in three formats in the right-hand column of this page.

It has a Vision that:

Herefordshire will be a place where people, organisations and businesses working together within an outstanding natural environment will bring about sustainable prosperity and well-being for all.

It had been planned to review and update the document this year (2011). However a number of  factors, both internal and external,  prompted the Executive Group to place a brief pause on this process and a new document will now be published in 2012. Click here for the Appendix which explains this more fully.
