Getting Involved
Getting involved is all about shaping your community in the way you feel is right. It's about influencing decisions that affect your neighbourhood, village, town or city. You can make your views heard through elections but also much less formal processes, such as consultations, public meetings, playing your part in voluntary organisations or a Parish Plan. All partners in the Herefordshire Partnership encourage community involvement and there are many organisations you can turn to for information. These pages show a selection of ways by which you can get involved, but they are by no means exhaustive. We are adding new contents to these pages continuously, so please do come back on a regular basis to find out more. If you want to get in touch, you can email us on consult@herefordshire.gov.uk.
Herefordshire Partnership's Consultation Protocol sets out Best Practice, and we encourage all our Partner organisations to work to these guidelines.
